weewaw That was easily the coolest non-phish show I've ever been to, and from a partially attendance bias reasons, one of my single favorite shows I've ever attended, period.

Got to meet my favorite member of my favorite band after the show. Me and a half dozen other girls went and hung out with him and Craig and chatted and hung out for a couple hours. I'm not going to be able to fall asleep for several hours, I am so happy and thankful.
The music was also great. Rail riding next to a new friend. I don't know most of the first set songs, but "Tiny Little World" was the set closer. Really good builds and peaks on so many songs. At one point during a song break, Mike said it was the 1 week anniversary of thanksgiving and that he was thankful for us, and several other things.
They brought out the pin wheel and I touched it. Ergo, I have technically jammed with Mike. That's so funny to me. Oh, and he had an adorable felt version of the wheel that he showed us, it was about the size of a frisbee. And he had a "micro mini" sized wheel (he made a self deprecating comment about "micro mini" right after he said it. Department of Redundancy department humor.
Second set was great. I don't know what he opened with, but they followed it with a deep-deep cut on "How Many People Are You" > Adderman's Yard. During set break, me and my new friend were discussing what we wanted to hear, and that was the song I said because it was the first of his solo songs that i heard by him that wasn't already played by phish, but I then told her I knew it was unlikely because it was more of his old band's song, as opposed to his current lineup. I think?Phoebe was next. Fun song. There was a Robert Palmer cover at some point. "Let's Go" closer with crowd "whoas" in a call-and-response with the band. The "whoas" carried over during the break before the encore, and they quote/reprised the "Let's go" before launching into a sick Cities with Asheville references.
All of that was awesome. So many friendly people that I met for the first time, a guy complimented me on my dance moves and then ran away before I could respond. and getting to fangirl gawk at Mike super intently for several hours was amazing. I wish I'd had something insightful to say, instead of just drooling. Plus he bent over to tie his shoe before the second set and got to see his tight jeans encased butt. Sexy beast and a genuine nice guy. He likes to hang out with an eccentric set of groupies.

TL;DR I'm on Cloud 9 after my first ever Mike Gordon show.
Edit1: sorry I didn't catch up with any netters whilst there.
