once again, this cross-eyed is the first chapters of one of the highlights of the year.
Still, best of 3.0's competition, when it comes down to little thematic movements like this is just insanely stiff.
Something like 5 minutes into the Dicks Piper that nobody talks about. Or the Steep jam from SPAC. The DJ Shadow jam from the Gorge Rock & Roll.
I've listened to Fall 95 & Summer 97's jams in sequential order over the last month or so, and I have no problem whatsoever saying that the actual improvisation right now is as strong or stronger than ever. So patient yet so restless. Constantly loping through different dimensions of space & time, smelling the roses all the while.
