MYSTERY JAM MONDAY PART 131

Welcome to the 131st running of the Mystery Jam here at Phish.net. As usual we will be playing for an MP3 download, courtesy of our friends at LivePhish.com / Nugs.Net. The rules haven't changed: you need to correctly identify the song and the date to win. Post your guess in the comments. One guess per person per day (with the second “day” starting after I post the hint). A hint will be posted on Tuesday (if necessary) and the answer will be posted on Wednesday. Good luck...

Wednesday Answer: Conrats to davarama for being the first to call the 6/24/95 "Bowie." The Blog will be back on Monday with another Mystery Jam for your listening pleasure.

Lookingforowlz Such a great version Bowie they spend the first 18 mins getting real dark, bringing it down in an almost "Bathtub Ginsy" real slow funk dark almost full stop, than at 18:30 this version just gets turned loose into a raging inferno, freight train of hosery.

Fluffyfluffyhead "freight train of hosery"

love it!

uctweezer One question about this source: this recording sounds great. Is this an AUD or a SBD? If it's a SBD how have I not heard it yet?! Or is the Charlie Miller remaster or something? Either way it sounds sick!

Feel_The_Bern Sounds very '95 to my ears... for today I'll go with the 6/10/95 Mike's.

Been rocking this bowie the last week or so. I always think of that tease as "Take me to the River", which of course they would later full on do just a few months later on 11/21/95. But maybe it is this I'm a Man song, kinda sound like it too.
