I feel like what you're saying is that you want the other band members to act as a backing track for Trey to just rip over. I Personally love the fact that Trey doesn't take lead guitar solos over every song and every jam. The organic building of songs with every member playing as one and each member shining at different times is what makes 3.0 so special in my opinion.
