The issue is what are we as a fanbase going to do to protect our scene. Blaming the president, getting into meaningless debates with each other, and panicking are not going to help the situation.

We need to as a community make a firm stance that this type of behavior will not be excepted at our shows and band together against any individuals or groups that champion hate.

Fully agree @lycanthropist. We are a diverse fanbase - diverse in our opinions on Phish, the state of the country, etc. - what we can all agree on is we love this band and will not tolerate a violent group disrupting our community with rage and hate.

I always get a laugh when Dead and Phish fans (which I am of both) always speak about how diverse their respective fans are. I've being going to Dead shows since the late 80's and Phish since the 90's and guess what the "diverse" fan base is still about 95% white. As for violence we can all agree there is no place for that at any concert, ever.
