ArmorySquared Thanks for revisiting Japan 1999 with another great article. I was curious if the 2000 shows were really as small and intimate as I remembered, so I looked up the capacities of the different venues. It turns out the two shows I went to (6/10 , 6/11) were actually at the two biggest venues on the whole tour, but still a lot smaller than the venues they were playing in the States at that time. Interesting comment by Trey on the interview with Japanese TV, as he remarked that he didn't find the venues small at all for a country they had only played in once before.

On Air East (Tokyo): 1000
Zepp Tokyo: 3575
Hibiya Outdoor Theatre: 3114 (not sure I found the accurate info, but seems about right)
Club Quattro (Nagoya): 700 (!)
Drum Logos (Fukuoka): 1000
Big Cat (Osaka): 850
Zepp Osaka: 2801 (the Japanese are very precise!)

Since these shows were almost 20 years ago, could have been slightly different at some venues, but I guess they are all about right.
