And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
View from the couch found me drifting while I was sleeping through set two (welcomed a new born a few weeks back, so that wasn’t commentary on the second set. Just tired). Woke up in key moments during the second set to find myself playing “what song is this?” Ended up being a fun game. What I did notice from my warped view was how clean the band has been playing. Trey especially. Aside from a couple flubs I think this is the tightest they have sounded with respect to the song proper(s) in years. Not to mention the exploration.
I did think the succinctness of the 10 minute Sand opener (which I absolutely love) was above average to get to a space and return to its landing pad type Twoish.
Appreciate you taking the time to discuss the show.
