And since we're entirely volunteer – with no office, salaries, or paid staff – administrative costs are less than 2% of revenues! So far, we've distributed over $2 million to support music education for children – hundreds of grants in all 50 states, with more on the way.
Alpine is Church for Me. Been that way since I was kid in 2000. Only difference now is that now I am bringing My Kid! (9 Years Old/2 Shows in 2 Summers, Each for His Bday)
I was at Pine Knob without My Son, (15+ Hours Solo for the Monsoons that Rained Down. And it WAS as Always Worth It!) And I was also at Friday and Sunday of Alpine with the Crew and New Phriends, Yeah You JMartin from .Net and Nicculus from St. Louis, but again without My Son.
But what I'm saying is what Chris said in the write up about Pine Knob. And that is that on Saturday, Now that I am bringing My Son and HE GETS IT, it is a Pheeling different than what I recall. And the Reason is not the "Dad Rock" LOL, the Reason is that the Next Generation of PHANS will carry this on for US, if WE teach them Right.
One thing You All can count on from the PhanFromWI, is that My Son will ALWAYS be Down With The Disease..
Peace Ya'll. See You again Down the Road and Remember to Drive Slow..
