SpreadheadJON Fantastic show, close to home and cheap tickets. The venue is pretty amazing as well. The venue is rich in history, formally a Farmer's Market dating back to the 1800's in Philadelphia. Up until recently it has been a "Spaghetti Warehouse" restaurant. The renovations kept the huge vaulted ceilings which make for great sound. There's a sweet balcony with accessible bars. As for, "The Meter Men with Page" the setlist looks deceivingly short. These guys played all night! Total funk nasty! The floor is open so its easy to get close to the band and there was lots of room to dance even with a packed house.
Personally, I can't wait until this spring when Mike Gordon Band will grace this stage for the first time.
