Review by DaReba

DaReba thanks phishtraks.com !!

Wailing Sample to start---right into a clumsy beginning of poor heart. both this and CAvern are average but have more energy and are tighter than the playing of the weeks before in france and italy.

MAZE!! a thoughtful Page solo ups the anty for Trey. HE brings it though. No noodling. From the start he is an electric behemoth and the band flies. Its like Trey is wrangling some untamed guitar animal. As always Fish kills it. Him and Page lock in at the end to make this a special jam for the period.
Bouncin brings the mood down a little. Still it was a crowd pleaser.

STASH!! definite crowd pleaser. And after hearing the boys rip into a MAze you gotta expect big things from this song choice. For all you air guitar fans this one is for you. Mike and Trey set the tone early. then Fish and Page ar emore than obliged to catch on and back up. The rest is pure Phish bliss made better when you know so many people there had never seen them before. Solid solid . even with a sloppy ending by Fish lol
A nice A Day in the life cover...
Then the opening notes of YEM !!! and no screaming by the crowd. Very interesting considering there were some people who did the clapping for stash. You would think one person would holler lol
The YEM is a testament to Fish's playing during this year. You can hear him getting more and more int the pocket and not the Rock/funk hybrid of 95. The jam sorta grags in the beginning until Fish gets the groove good and that doesn't last that long. ok YEM otherwise
