Review by Divided_Stash
Maze: classic combo. Highlight is Page who really shines during his section
Bouncing Around The Room: standard
Poor Heart: standard
Stash: after a perfect composed performance Trey leads a beautiful build with some hints of exploration early on, but for the most part stays within the realms
The Horse: acoustic’d
Silent In The Morning: standard
Divided Sky: stunning flawless version. Trey dominates his solo in typical 1993 fashion
Cavern: D-Sky teases
Lawn Boy: the chairman of the boards
All Things Reconsidered: standard
Possum: high energy rager with scat singing mixed in to close the first
Wilson: fun version with some “jamming” between verses, some minor lyrical troubles but nothing too bad
Sparkle: standard
Tweezer: Fish keeps the standard drumbeat while the other guys play around. After a bit Trey leads into
Walk Away: nice treat -> from Tweez. No Trey solo but Page gets his turn of singing
Mound: standard
Big Ball Jam: shorter one but all were made
Harry Hood: n00bs in the audience clapping during the slow part, but once that's over the build and release is gorgeous
Hold Your Head Up: time for John Sullen Melancholy (Henrietta Tubman)
If I Only Had A Brain: vacuum
Hold Your Head Up: bye Tubs
You Enjoy Myself: the jam softens to almost silence and rises again in glorious fashion. Mike takes an extended bass+drums section. The vocal jam is great as well
Golgi Apparatus: normal set closer
When Something Is Wrong With My Baby: to Mike’s sweetie. Last time played
Amazing Grace: acapella
Tweezer Reprise: high energy closing
Pretty normal night from Spring 1993. Clean playing and not much exploration yet. This is a 7.5/10 show. Highlights are Lengthwise> Maze, Stash, Divided Sky, Possum, Tweezer, Hood, and YEM
